Investigator #1

- Joined the Winnipeg Police Department in 1982 as a recruit Constable.
- Assigned to Criminal Investigation Units for a total of 10 years (Narcotics, Property Crimes, Joint Forces, Robbery & Anti-Crime.
- Assigned to Surveillance related duties for 10 years (1992-1998 and 2000-2005). Involved in excess of 1,500 surveillance ops.
- Promoted to the rank of Detective Sergeant in 1992.
- Promoted to the rank of Sergeant (Platoon Supervisor) in 1999.

- Joined the Winnipeg Police Service in 1976, holding the rank of Constable
- Promoted to the Rank of Detective Sergeant in 1988

- Joined the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in 1973
- Assigned to the Toronto Drug Section which involved among other duties; surveillance, wiretaps of major players in organized crime.
- Assigned to Manitoba on 1978 and was stationed in various detachments throughout the province in General Duties.

- Joined the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in 1977
- Assigned to numerous detachments in Manitoba over the years dealing with aboriginal communities; as well as other communities with their own unique cultures.
- Spent a total of 8 years in the Drug Section and Surveillance (Special “O”). In this tenure testified numerous times in all levels of court and giving expert testimony in regards to Surveillance involving organized crime.
- Instructed the RCMP Surveillance course to all levels of police agencies including the Instructors for the RCMP training Academy at Depot.

- Spent a total of 10 years as Officer in Charge in the Auto Theft Section and is recognized in the Court of Queens Bench in Alberta and Manitoba as an Expert in this field.
- Spent the last six years in the Winnipeg Drug Section responsible for all administration duties of a 28 man section and was responsible for all seizures made of illegal drugs as well as monies.

- A 26 year veteran of the Winnipeg Police Service; Retiring in 2004 at the rank of Sergeant.

- Has been recognized by the Provincial court and Court of Queens bench as an “expert” in the field of narcotics and drug trafficking. Has testified in over 60 cases involving drug trafficking and organized crime.

- Member of the Emergency Response Unit (SWAT) for the Winnipeg Police Service for 18 years and in the past 8 years was team leader who trained and supervised new members to the unit.
